Wouter has worked as a project researcher at the Knowledge Platform since June 2020. As a historian, he is particularly interested in the sequence of decisions, accidents and coincidences that have led to the current crisis situation in Groningen. For the Knowledge Platform, he studies the developments in the small gas fields elsewhere in the country, he writes blogs and studies the legislation surrounding the Groningen field.
